We are a global player in distribution of working fluids serving a wide range of industries around the world such as Building, HVAC, Energy, Refrigeration.

Trading for over 40 years, we are well respected within the industry for our technical expertise and product support services.

Our business relies on a dynamic team based in our head office in Brussels, supported by local offices across the world (Shanghai - Singapore - Dubai - Moscow). The company is experiencing a continued period of growth and requires an AREA SALES MANAGER to support its sales team in Middle East region.

The Role

As Area Sales Manager for Climalife Overseas, you will be responsible for leading regional coverage of sales activities related to products, solutions, and services in Middle East.

Following profitable growth strategies, you will manage the development of your region by increasing our presence in order to maximize Climalife sales opportunities with associated forecasting, budgeting, and staffing decisions.

Focusing on sales targets achievements, you will pursue key prospects in line with our strategy and portfolio added value orientated on Eco Efficient solutions to serve the industry (distribution of blowing agents, refrigerant gases, heat transfer fluid, lubricants, industrial & special gases...) considering the entire ecosystem of international trading.

Also, this position aims to drive team collaboration with other Climalife Teams to deliver the best value to our customer and identify additional business opportunities.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with include

Manage, retain, develop and monitor an existing customer portfolio.
Review the sales plan by product/service/market and organize his/her task to reach it.

Develop a regular schedule of visits to develop new business.

Prospect and follow up with existing/potential customers using sales actions, emails, telephone calls etc.
Initiate and maintain business contacts with existing and potential customers to build relationships in the medium and long term.
Analyze client/prospect needs based on a good knowledge of the characteristics of the product/service/market ranges
Conduct business visits and interviews with a professional clientele to promote (demonstrations and presentations, seminars, customer showroom visits) and draft customer visit, business and travel reports
Negotiate sales or service agreements within predetermined limits (specific prices, discounts and rebates, delivery times, payment terms, etc.).
Define the sales offer for products/services in keeping with the Sales Administration and Logistics departments.
Enter, track and follow up on offers.
Monitor sales, customer satisfaction, invoicing, payments.
Manage, update, track, and enrich the customer/prospect file via the dedicated CRM tool.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria :

Minimum 5 years of international sales experience
Experience in chemicals sales with a strong interest in technical and environmental topics.
Knowledge of HVAC industry is an asset
Fluency in English is mandatory, any other language is a nice to have
Ability to travel frequently
