We’re seeking an experienced and vigilant cybersecurity specialist who can proactively prevent breaches of all sizes, understand when they occur, and take immediate steps to remediate them. The ideal candidate has an understanding of cybersecurity standards and certifications, extensive knowledge of how cybercriminals work, and has a general knowledge of IT Networking.

Main responsibilities:

Guard all company data, particularly sensitive data, from both internal and external threats by designing broad defenses against would-be intruders
Investigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

Carry out day-to-day monitoring for unusual activities, implement defensive protocols, and report incidents

Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
Work with the IT Security to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
Develop and review information security policies and procedures according to the industry best practices and relevant standard requirements
Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop new protocols, layers of protection, and other both proactive and defensive systems that stay one step ahead of cyber criminals
Perform penetration testing
Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems
Configure anti-virus systems, firewalls, data centers and software updates with a security-first mindset
Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of wired and wireless networks

Troubleshooting and problem solving of structured cabling systems
Arranging scheduled upgrades, and updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
Acting as a point of escalation on the service desk regarding supporting L2-3 incidents
Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications & skills:

Full English proficiency is required
Knowledge of cloud security and experience in cloud security testing
ITIL V3/V4 or has a clear understanding of Incident, Request, Problem and Change management
Deep knowledge of IT, including hardware, software, and networks
Meticulous eye for detail and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and forensics
Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings
Ability to think like a hacker in order to stay ahead of threats


Three to five years of experience in Cybersecurity
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information systems, information technology, or related field
Experience with Windows Defender / Crowdstrike
Experience with cable pulling & Fortinet firewall a plus
Prior experience working as a Network/Network Security Engineer or similar
