Job Description
The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Corporate Director of Performance Marketing in planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on full-funnel digital marketing campaigns across Rotana's digital ecosystem. This includes managing paid media (search, social, display, programmatic), owned web channels, CRM, and campaign analytics.
The role also includes digital marketing analyst functions from setting up tracking and attribution models to performance reporting and data storytelling.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Planning & Execution
Develop and manage integrated digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, bookings, and conversions.
Execute paid media campaigns across platforms including:
o Google Ads
o Meta Ads Manager (Facebook, Instagram)
o LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads
o Programmatic advertising
Collaborate with creative teams to develop campaign assets (copy, visuals, landing pages).
Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand and regional marketing plans.
2. Performance Marketing & Paid Media Operations
Set up campaign structures, audiences, budgets, and bidding strategies.
Implement ad tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta Pixel, and other tags.
Manage budget pacing and optimize bids based on performance metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS).
Monitor conversion tracking and lead funnel performance daily.
3. Digital Analytics & Reporting
Own end-to-end performance reporting using:
o Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
o Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio)
o Google Search Console
o Meta Business Suite
Build dashboards for internal stakeholders that showcase KPIs such as traffic, CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
Implement A/B tests and interpret results.
4. Website & Conversion Optimization
Work with web team to ensure landing pages are mobile-optimized, SEO-compliant, and conversion-focused.
Conduct user journey and funnel analysis to reduce drop-off rates and improve goal completions.
5. CRM, Email & Retargeting Campaigns
Coordinate with CRM teams to integrate lifecycle campaigns and retargeting audiences.
Build custom audiences for remarketing and lookalike campaigns.
Use customer segmentation for email targeting and retention.
6. SEO & Content Optimization
Monitor and improve on-page SEO performance.
Assist in keyword strategy and content gap analysis.
Collaborate with content teams to optimize landing pages and blog content for SEO ranking.
7. Team Collaboration & Training
Work with hotel-level marketing teams to guide them on digital best practices.
Train junior team members or hotel marketers on analytics basics, reporting, and campaign execution.
8. Innovation & Technology
Stay current on emerging trends in performance marketing, AI-powered media buying, cookieless tracking, and attribution modeling.
Evaluate new martech and adtech platforms to recommend adoption.
Skills
Technical Requirements: Must-Have Tools & Skills:
Google Ads (certified preferred)
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – advanced understanding of events, conversions, reports
Google Tag Manager (GTM) – setup and troubleshooting
Looker Studio – dashboard creation
Meta Ads Manager
Search Console
Campaign URL Builder and UTM tracking
Excel/Google Sheets – for pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and campaign data analysis
Understanding of attribution models (first click, linear, data-driven, etc.)
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with programmatic DSPs
Knowledge of CDP/CRM tools such as Salesforce, Oracle Eloqua, or HubSpot
Experience with Heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg)
HTML/CSS basics for landing page troubleshooting
SEO platforms: SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Data Analytics, or related field.
4–7 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-brand organizations.
Strong analytical mindset with a data-first approach to decision-making.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Agency or in-house brand experience managing campaigns across multiple markets is a plus.
