The Daycare Assistant supports the care, supervision, and development of children in a daycare or early childhood center.
The role focuses on ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor children at all times
Assist with feeding, changing, and basic hygiene needs
Support learning and play activities
Help prepare educational materials and classroom setup
Ensure a safe and clean environment
Encourage positive behavior and social development
Communicate with lead teachers and staff regarding children’s progress
Follow daycare policies, safety, and safeguarding procedures
