A leading school transportation environment in Dubai offers an opportunity for a responsible and caring School Bus Attendant to support students during daily bus journeys and help maintain a safe, orderly, and comfortable travel environment.

The role is suitable for individuals who are patient, attentive, and comfortable working with children.

Key Responsibilities

Assist students when boarding and leaving the school bus.
Ensure students remain safely seated throughout the journey.
Monitor student behavior and maintain a calm and respectful atmosphere.
Help younger students with their bags and personal belongings when required.
Check the bus before departure and after arrival to ensure no student or belongings are left behind.
Maintain an accurate attendance or passenger list as required.
Coordinate with the bus driver regarding student pick-up and drop-off points.
Ensure students are collected and released according to authorized arrangements.
Assist students with special needs or additional support requirements when assigned.
Communicate delays, route issues, or student concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Handle minor student concerns calmly and report serious issues promptly.
Follow school transportation rules and child-safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and order inside the bus.
Assist during emergency situations according to established safety procedures.
Maintain professional communication with parents, school staff, and transport personnel.
Protect student privacy and handle personal information responsibly.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children, schools, childcare, or customer service is an advantage.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Patient, caring, responsible, and attentive personality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to supervise children and follow safety instructions.
Physically fit and able to assist students when required.
Basic English communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and responsible during unexpected situations.
Punctual and reliable with good attendance.
Willingness to work according to school transportation schedules.
UAE/GCC school or childcare experience is an advantage.
First Aid or child-safety training is an advantage.
