Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, safety-conscious Heavy Trailer Driver with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating heavy prime movers connected to multi-axle lowbed and flatbed trailers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely loading, securing, and transporting heavy construction machinery (e.g., cranes, drilling rigs, excavators) as well as general industrial materials across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy prime movers coupled with lowbed and flatbed trailers in compliance with UAE traffic laws and site safety protocols.
2. Transport heavy construction machinery, over-dimensional cargo (ODC), structural components, and containerized goods to designated sites and client yards.
3. Safely maneuver articulated vehicles in congested areas, narrow job sites, and industrial zones.
4. Position, balance, and securely chain/ratchet heavy equipment on lowbed trailers to eliminate weight imbalance and shifting risks.
5. Secure flatbed loads using heavy-duty straps, winches, twist-locks, and tarpaulins.
6. Operate trailer hydraulic ramps safely during equipment loading and unloading procedures.
7. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (air brake systems, fifth-wheel assembly, kingpins, tire integrity, multi-axle suspension, and lighting).
8. Report any mechanical faults, pressure drops, or maintenance needs to the Fleet Supervisor immediately.
9. Ensure all delivery notes, gate passes, site entry permits, and police escort documentation are accurately maintained for each trip.

Applicant Requirements & Qualifications

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating lowbed and flatbed trailer trucks in the UAE/GCC region.
2. Licensing: Valid UAE Category 4 (Heavy Truck / Heavy Vehicle) Driving License.
3. Record: Clean driving record with zero major accidents or severe black point violations.
