The finance and accounting sector in Dubai offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to monitor costs, analyze financial data, support budgeting activities, and help management maintain effective cost controls.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of product, material, labor, and operational costs.
Track and analyze actual costs against budgets and planned expenses.
Prepare cost reports and financial summaries for management review.
Monitor inventory valuation and investigate significant cost variances.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-planning activities.
Review purchase costs, production expenses, and other operational expenditures.
Analyze cost movements and identify areas requiring management attention.
Reconcile cost-related accounts and supporting financial records.
Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, production, and finance teams.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain supporting documentation for cost calculations and financial reports.
Help establish and maintain appropriate cost-control procedures.
