Key Responsibilities

Prepare and secure loads using slings, shackles, chains, and lifting accessories.
Attach and detach loads safely for lifting operations.
Guide suspended loads using approved hand signals.
Inspect rigging equipment before use and report defects.
Assist crane operators and site supervisors during lifting activities.
Follow lifting plans, safety procedures, and designated exclusion zones.
Keep rigging equipment organized and properly stored.
Report unsafe conditions or lifting hazards to the supervisor.
