Job Responsibilities

– Provide antenatal, maternity, and postnatal care to patients.
– Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and labor.
– Assist with normal deliveries according to approved clinical procedures.
– Monitor vital signs and identify changes requiring medical attention.
– Provide emotional and practical support to mothers and families.
– Assist doctors and medical teams during deliveries and maternity procedures.
– Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
– Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
– Administer medications and treatments as authorized.
– Follow infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety standards.
– Respond appropriately to maternity emergencies and escalate concerns promptly.
– Support newborn assessment and immediate postnatal care.
– Maintain patient confidentiality and professional healthcare standards.
