Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Operations Manager to oversee the overall operations, facilities management, resident relations, community engagement, and service delivery of a large-scale residential or mixed-use development. The ideal candidate will ensure the community operates in line with best-in-class standards while delivering exceptional resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and vibrant environment for residents and stakeholders.
Develop and implement community management strategies that enhance resident satisfaction, community engagement, and operational excellence.
Ensure all community rules, regulations, and policies are effectively communicated, enforced, and periodically reviewed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, owners, tenants, service providers, and relevant authorities.
Establish and manage resident communication channels, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
Develop and execute an annual calendar of community events, engagement activities, and resident initiatives that foster a strong sense of community.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure community standards, cleanliness, aesthetics, and safety requirements are consistently maintained.
Oversee all facilities management activities, including maintenance, repairs, utilities, landscaping, security, and cleaning services.
Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to implement preventive maintenance programs for community infrastructure, buildings, and equipment.
Manage service providers and contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements, and approved budgets.
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Take charge of emergency situations and ensure proper incident management, reporting, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance community facilities, increase resident satisfaction, and optimize costs.
Ensure all modifications, alterations, and infrastructure changes are approved through the appropriate authority and governance processes.
Prepare monthly management reports covering operational performance, resident feedback, maintenance activities, service contracts, community initiatives, and financial performance.
Assist in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support business objectives.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure expenditures remain within approved financial parameters.
Monitor revenue, service charges, and operational costs while ensuring compliance with company financial procedures.
Skills

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in community management, property management, facilities management, hospitality operations, or a related field.
Proven experience managing residential communities, mixed-use developments, townships, or large-scale properties.
Strong knowledge of facilities management, contract management, budgeting, resident relations, and community engagement.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of health, safety, legal, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property/community management systems is preferred.
