Description
JOB PURPOSE
To control/monitor and report all Middle East and Intercontinental Air Operations. Adaptation of network schedule in case of delay or failure to ensure service performance. To ensure that service, cost safety and legal requirements are maintained on a day-to-day basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure full compliance with Network Operating Standards and all GSAM procedures related to the Middle East NCG department.
• Formulate accurate and timely load plans for all air movements, across different aircraft types, using the NMIV, SABLE, and RCTS systems in accordance with GSAM guidelines.
• Acknowledge new arrival messages from GSAM within 7 days.
• Coordinate with dispatch and wet lease operators' dispatch teams to communicate aircraft cargo weight and final fueling details.
• Prioritize TDI shipments for all Key Account Department clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Transit Time, Departure Performance, Connectivity, and On-time Departure.
• Assist other gateways and hubs by preparing load plans to ensure on-time departures.
• Ensure NMIV messaging is completed in accordance with GSOP requirements for ATD, LDM, and ATA, and delivered on time.
• Monitor and manage HUB systems (OCNT) to ensure timely transmission and receipt of all required data, including ACS data.
• Keep systems (ECIS) up to date in compliance with checkpoint business rules.
• Ensure CALMS is updated with all necessary details for CAL, network, and intercontinental movements.
• Adhere to the commercial booking process (DG) and recovery protocols, ensuring that CALMS is updated promptly and with accurate information.
• Update fueling details for all DHX and third-party operator movements, both outbound and inbound.
• Ensure flagging for all outbound movements is updated and amended in accordance with GSFP.
• Compile and distribute daily NCG reports to provide a comprehensive review of the previous 24-hour operations.
• Daily space upgrades/downgrades.
• Monitor and update Utilization sheet for outbound network flights.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments to ensure timely sharing of information about flight changes or issues.
• Ensure full compliance with Network Operating Standards and all THP procedures related to the Middle East NCG department.
• Provide real-time visibility on distressed shipments to local operations for immediate attention and corrective actions.
• Offer support and guidance (e.g., GSOP clarifications) to local operations during issue resolution processes.
• Assist Dubai Hub Ops & DXB GTW in ensuring accurate and timely checkpoint visibility, on-time shipment connections, and recovery.
• Follow up on incomplete actions, escalating to local Operations Management, Owners, or DHL Network as necessary.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses to determine the root cause of failures, communicate findings to local operations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Raise service issues, non-compliance, or performance concerns for review and action where communication channels have been established.
• Respond to potential service incidents by addressing AQCC application violations and identifying incident categories.
• Push process failures to accountable facility owners for root cause identification and corrective action. Ensure proper warehouse searches are conducted.
• Ensure facilities make optimal business decisions to uphold transit time commitments.
• Flag any AQCC-related issues, violations, or gaps that require timely attention.
• Efficiently trace unidentified shipments (UID), working closely with stakeholders to keep the list of UID shipments at the hub to a minimum.
• Conduct weekly UID audits, prepare paperwork for destroy/auction processes, and ensure the FSC tool aligns with the Hub UID database.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
University Graduate.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the transportation industry within the ME.
Minimum of 1 years DHL network experience.
