Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Specialty Outlet Chef to join our team and lead the culinary operations at our specialty outlet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique and delicious menu items, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food service for our guests.
This position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort!
Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and create innovative menu items that align with the concept and theme of the specialty outlet.
2. Plan and execute food preparation, cooking, and presentation in line with quality standards.
3. Oversee kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervising their work.
4. Monitor food costs and manage inventory to ensure profitability.
5. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
6. Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special promotions.
7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Specialty Outlet Chef or a similar role in a high-end restaurant or specialty outlet.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
