A well-established organization is seeking qualified and responsible candidates for the position of Cashier.

The role involves handling daily customer transactions, processing payments accurately, maintaining cash records, and providing professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle cash, card, and electronic payment transactions accurately.
Receive payments and issue receipts to customers.
Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Verify prices, discounts, and payment amounts.
Maintain accurate records of daily cash transactions.
Perform cash counting and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
Handle refunds and exchanges according to company procedures.
Maintain sufficient cash and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Assist customers with basic payment and billing-related inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
Protect confidential payment and customer information.
Prepare daily cashier reports and submit them to the supervisor.
Coordinate with the accounts or management team regarding payment discrepancies.
Perform other duties related to cashiering and billing as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
Previous cashier, billing, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
Good numerical and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Honest, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle cash and financial transactions responsibly.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
Freshers with good communication and basic computer skills may also be considered.
