Description

A company is hiring an Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical engineering activities, installations, maintenance, testing, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure electrical work is completed safely and according to approved standards.

Responsibilities

Design, review, and supervise electrical systems and installations.
Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they meet project requirements.
Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams.
Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress.
Ensure all electrical activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Support troubleshooting and resolve electrical system problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
