A growing organization in Dubai is strengthening its workplace safety team and is inviting applications for a Safety Officer.

The position involves monitoring workplace conditions, supporting safety procedures, conducting inspections, and helping teams maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Freshers can apply, while candidates with practical safety knowledge and relevant experience are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily workplace activities to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
Conduct routine site inspections and safety checks.
Ensure employees follow established safety procedures and company guidelines.
Assist in implementing workplace health and safety policies.
Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Prepare safety observations, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
Support investigations of workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Conduct or assist with toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions.
Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly.
Monitor housekeeping and safe access within work areas.
Coordinate with supervisors and management regarding safety concerns and corrective actions.
Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.
Maintain safety records, checklists, permits, and inspection documentation.
Follow up on outstanding safety actions and ensure they are addressed appropriately.
Promote a strong safety-conscious workplace culture through regular communication.
Perform other safety-related duties assigned by management.
