Description
A security and surveillance environment in Dubai offers an opportunity for an attentive CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems, identify unusual activity, and promptly communicate security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance screens across assigned areas.
Observe entrances, exits, common areas, restricted zones, and other designated locations.
Identify suspicious behavior, safety concerns, unauthorized access, or unusual incidents.
Immediately report security incidents to the supervisor or security team.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and monitoring activities.
Review recorded footage when required for incident verification or investigation.
Operate CCTV monitoring equipment and basic surveillance-control systems.
Check camera feeds regularly and report faulty, unclear, or non-functioning cameras.
Coordinate with security guards regarding incidents or suspicious activity.
Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and security information.
Follow established monitoring procedures and emergency-response instructions.
Assist management or authorized personnel with footage retrieval when officially requested.
Prepare basic shift handover notes and surveillance reports.
Maintain continuous attention throughout assigned monitoring shifts.
Requirements
Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Control Room Operator, Security Officer, or similar role is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant security qualifications and good observation skills are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of CCTV and surveillance systems.
Strong observation and concentration abilities.
Good communication and incident-reporting skills.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate monitoring software.
Able to remain calm and alert during emergencies or unusual situations.
Responsible and trustworthy when handling confidential information.
Good English communication skills.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
UAE/GCC security experience is an advantage.
Relevant UAE security certification or licence is an advantage, where applicable.
