Description

A hospital, medical centre, or healthcare facility is looking for a Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment, monitor compliance with safety regulations, and help prevent workplace accidents and hazards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
Ensure employees follow company safety policies and procedures.
Monitor compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, checklists, and inspection records.
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
Assist in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
Monitor housekeeping and safe working practices at the workplace.
Coordinate with management and site teams to resolve safety issues.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Safety Officer or HSE Officer is preferred.
Relevant Safety/HSE certifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA, are an advantage.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Knowledge of UAE safety standards and regulations is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with site teams and employees.
